community.

School Community

  • CREATING SCHOOL LUNCH REVIEW APP (2022)

    • ​Students rate each menu's taste and nutrition out of 5 stars in order to improve the quality of meal

    • The app also allows students to vote for future menus
       

  • ISSUED AP CALCULUS AB & BC PRACTICE TESTS (2022)

    • ​Co-published with 3 other high school students

    • ​​Helps students who are taking AMC & AIME understand complex math concepts

Local Community

  • EFMIGO (2022 - present)

    • Teaches robotics to local youth every weekend at the Seoul Gangnam Community Center

    • Co-founded coding & robotics education company EFMIGO with a friend and received 12,000 USD from the government

    • Received free robotics kits by signing an MOU with the company ROBOTRON
       

  • HAPPY SILVER WORLD (2021 - present)

    • An institution for disabled elders

    • Helped and donated money to dementia patients by completing 2 art pieces annually and selling them at a fundraising event

    • The student department gathers 20,000 USD annually for elderly dementia patients
       

  • National Cancer Center (2020 - present)

    • Performed double bass Solo concert to support cancer patients

Global Community

  • PLAY FOR REFUGEES ONLINE CONCERT (2022)

    • Directed and organized online orchestra “Play for Refugees” with 80+ students from around the world

    • Raised 2,900 USD for the Ukraine Refugee Center and Baraka Refugee Center

  • SAVE THE EARTH ONLINE CONCERT (2023)

    • ​Directed and organized online orchestra “Save the Earth” with 50+ Chadwick International students 

    • ​Donated 3,500 USD to the United Nations

​

  • INTERNATIONAL VACCINE INSTITUTE (2020 - present)

    • Head of the Student Music Department at the International Vaccine Institute

    • Orchestra double bass section leader and raised money for the institute
       

  • ZONTA INTERNATIONAL CLUB (2020)

    • The first-ever male member of the club

    • Advocates for human rights, equality, and against gender-based violence
       

  • UNEP — United Nations Environment Programme (2022 - present)

    • Earth School for Environment Middle School Leader
